Learn how to make your own sauerkraut at home. It is simple to make with no expensive equipment. Just cabbage, a small amount of salt and a few days on the kitchen bench fermenting. You get to taste the result of ones we made earlier. Walking tour of the farm included.
This is a GOLD event suitable for ages 50 years and over. This activity has been funded by Brisbane City Council as part of Council’s Active and Healthy Program.

Wear enclosed footwear. Bring an apron and a one litre sterilised jar with a lid to take your sauerkraut home.
