Luckily Beelarong’s next Farmgate sale is on this Saturday because Father’s Day is just around the corner! You can get in early and pick up some of Dad’s favourite jam or chutney, or perhaps get him started growing some herbs to add to his special marinade for the barbecue. And don’t forget a card to go with the gift!

Still on winter time, we’ll start at 9am and run till noon, and, we now accept card payments!

There’s a great variety of home made preserves on offer, as well as some lovely herbs and succulents, and a selection of hand crafted goods such as string bags, delicate bobbin-lace bookmarks, hand printed place mats, cotton bags and tea towels.

New this month are some gardening aprons with pockets for tools, harvested vegies and even for your mobile phone, secured with Velcro. How cool is that?!

The stars of the show are of course the preserves. Lots of different kinds of marmalade: lime, cumquat, mandarin, orange and grapefruit. Strawberry jam, and Brazilian Cherry and Apple Jam.

A delicious range of savoury preserves, great with cheese, meat or curries. Choose from choko, cumquat, tangy tomato, starfruit, pawpaw and apple, or green mango and nectarine chutney. There’s also Choko Relish, Tomato Relish and Sweet Mustard Pickle.

And if you’re an early bird, you might be lucky enough to pick up some Lemon Butter or a jar of Preserved Lemons, both in limited supply.

Don't forget to bring back your old jars and fabric tops (if bought at the farm), they will be reused.
