Sauerkraut workshop

In this hands-on session we will show you how to make your own sauerkraut at home. It is simple to make with no expensive equipment. Just cabbage, a small amount of salt and a few days on the kitchen bench fermenting.

This is a GOLD event suitable for ages 50 years and over. Proudly supported by Brisbane City Council’s Active and Healthy team.
Cost $5
Wear enclosed footwear, bring an apron, a one litre jar with lid to take your sauerkraut home and your favourite sharp knife - you will be slicing cabbage.
