Doesn’t this wet and cool weather just make you want to curl up with some crumpets dripping with butter and jam, or a great curry with lashings of chutney?

Well, now’s your chance to get your supplies in at our Farmgate sale this Saturday 28 May from 9 am to 12 noon.

This month we have great range of small batch jams, chutneys and pickles to tempt you. Too many to itemise, so here’s a small selection.

Jams: Strawberry; Jaboticaba (also good with cheese and biscuits); Jaboticaba and Apple; Starfruit and Ginger; and the list wouldn’t be complete without our Rosella jam. Those bushes still keep giving.

We have Lime marmalade and Orange marmalade, always a favourite. If you fancy one of our boutique marmalades we have Starfruit, Lime and Chilli marmalade; Orange, Lime and Lemon marmalade; Mandarin; and Kafir Lime marmalade.

Chutneys and relishes include Green Papaya chutney; Starfruit and Eggplant chutney; Starfruit and Cucumber chutney; and our old favourite Tomato Relish.

As well as preserves, we also have a wonderful display of craft items made by our craft group and a wide selection of plants and herbs. Check out our Facebook page with more info about the crafts and plants.

All preserves $6 per jar. Card and cash accepted.

We also have a small batch of Lemon Butter which are ‘snapped up' quickly, limit one jar per person, $8 per jar.
