Join us for an enjoyable hands-on workshop, presented by Dave and Di Tucker who have tended Beelarong’s community composting hub for years. You will experience creating a backyard compost heap to produce nutritious food for your plants.

Start your journey in diverting your food scraps from going into landfill and avoiding the production of methane, a greenhouse gas twenty times more potent than carbon dioxide.

The workshop will also cover the biology of composting, different methods and solving common problems.
