Earth Repair Gardening Workshop

  • Beelarong Community Farm 56 York Street Morningside, QLD, 4170 Australia (map)

Join Gardening Coach, Kate Wall, for this information packed workshop on Earth Repair Gardening.

This workshop will cover multiple aspects of sustainable gardening with a focus on soil. We will explore different soil types, what these soil types mean for you the gardener, and how your activities impact the soil within your garden.

We will learn how and why to improve soil, and the surprising ways we damage our soil without realising. We know great soil makes growing plants much easier, but did you also know the role of your soil in the bigger climate change picture?

Bring a jar of soil from your garden to learn more about it and so you can apply the learning to your own soil. You will leave fully prepared to create a carbon sink in your own backyard, so that you can become an Earth Repair Gardener.
Light refreshments will be served after the workshop.

Cost: $20 per person. All welcome.
